baker MAINWANTED BY DOC IN SNOHOMISH COUNTY –
Morris Baker has been convicted of raping a 12-year-old girl over and over, as well as many domestic violence crimes.

In one assault, he beat a woman bloody and dragging her by the hair — all because she didn’t visit him in jail.

baker 2

An attack on a different woman, ended with gunfire. “Baker confronted the victim inside her own home. He yelled at her, pushed her, and held her in place via her throat and face, not allowing her to leave. In his hand he had a .22 rifle, and repeatedly swung the butt of the gun towards her face, threatening to shoot her. He even fired three rounds into the ground, just to scare her,” Ofc. Christina Lacy with the Department of Corrections said.

Police also said that when Baker drinks, he becomes even more reckless.

Baker is known to hang out in Everett, and police last saw him driving a white Ford Explorer.

If you know how to help catch Baker, call Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS.

bruceWANTED BY THE SNOHOMISH COUNTY VIOLENT OFFENDER TASK FORCE –
After getting caught on camera, Washington’s Most Wanted viewers have identified a Burger King burglar as Michael Bruce — a.k.a ‘Fisherman Mike’.

Bruce is accused of hitting the ‘Home of the Whopper’ in Snohomish, and now he’s wanted by the Snohomish County Violent Offender Task Force.

“We don’t have a lot of commercial burglaries in the community, so when the Burger King was burglarized certainly we take that very seriously. They’re valuable members of our community,” Snohomish Police Chief John Flood said. “What really makes this a good case to work is the video footage that we have from inside the store. What helped us is that they spent a lot of time inside of that restaurant. Certainly, we’re looking for the community’s help in trying to locate these suspects.”

Detectives say Bruce and an unidentified burglary buddy who’s also wanted, spent more than a half hour trying to get into the safe with no luck. They even tried using a saw grinder.

Bruce was identified by WMW viewers after we featured him no the show, leaving the burger joint empty handed.

The Task Force says he has a criminal history that includes burglary, theft and drugs. They think he’s hiding out in Everett or Lynnwood.

If you know where Michael Bruce is, or can help The Snohomish County Violent Offender Task Force identify his accomplice, call the Crime Stoppers hotline right now at 800-222-TIPS. Your call is anonymous and  you could get a cash reward for information leading to the capture of “Fisherman Mike.”

SPOK 3

FUGITIVE CAPTURED August 18, 2013 –
The Spokane Police Department says robbery suspect, Scott Ruziecki, is in custody after a short SWAT standoff near the 600 block of South Arthur St.

On Monday evening, Spokane police say its Patrol Anti Crime Team developed information that Ruziecki was inside a residence at 600 S Arthur. They attempted to make contact with him, but he initially refused to exit the residence. SWAT officers and Hostage Negotiators were called to the scene, due to information gathered last week, which indicated Ruzieke was armed and would shoot any law enforcement officer if confronted. Ruzieke later exited the residence without incident around 9:45pm.

Detectives executed search warrants for the residence in relation to the 3 robberies of local banks.

SPOKSPOK 2

WANTED IN SPOKANE COUNTY August 16, 2013 –
Spokane County Major Crimes Detectives have active arrest warrants for 41-year-old Scott Ruziecki for the robberies at the Banner Bank branch in Safeway in Hillyard on August 9, 2013, and the U.S. Bank branch on Argonne and Trent on August 13, 2013.  Today there was another robbery shortly after 10:00 a.m. at the Banner Bank branch at Mission and Hamilton.  There is probable cause for the arrest of Ruziecki for this robbery as well.

Through this investigation, investigators have learned Ruziecki is armed with a handgun and has made threats to shoot any law enforcement if confronted.

Sheriff Knezovich has issued a public safety warning to the community with regard to Ruziecki.  Due to the fact Ruziecki stated he will shoot any law enforcement if confronted, and with information he is armed, Sheriff Knezovich strongly advises citizens to immediately call 911 if they see him and by no means attempt to make contact.

If you know where he is, call 911 or  Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS to get the reward.

jarrellWANTED BY DOC IN YAKIMA COUNTY –
A violent rampage — attacking and punching three women, busting down a bathroom door, and hurling a rock through a car window — that’s just one of the dozens of crimes high-violent, drug-dealing gang member, Jarrell Williams, has been busted for.

Now, he’s wanted by the Department of Corrections for Escape in Yakima County.

One of those three women he attacked was his girlfriend, and even though he got arrested right after it all, his harassment didn’t stop there – calling her from jail to threaten her – even threatening to kill her while in the back of a patrol car.

He doesn’t go down easy for cops either — getting tased after he wouldn’t get out of a car following a high-speed chase.

He’s 33 years old.

The street name he’s mostly known as around Yakima is “Illa”, but he also goes by “Baby King J”.

Officers have good reason to think Williams is ‘armed and dangerous’ right now.

Troopers on mission to keep tired truckers off the road

$

parellaSTATEWIDE — For the second year in a row, the Washington state patrol has joined forces with Idaho, Oregon and British Columbia to target fatigued truck drivers. Trooper Andrew Stoeckle says, “We’re giving them our scale crossings and their giving us our scale crossings so we can compare that to our driver’s log books.”

Truckers are required to log when they take breaks or sleep for the night. But of those books show that proper breaks haven’t been taken, they get pulled of the road, sometimes for hours at a time.

“What we do when we find a log book violation, it’s $179.00 ticket. And it can be placed out of service, but it depends on what they violated. They can be placed out of service from two hours to ten hours or longer,” adds Stoeckle.  Truckers can also rack up civil penalties from the government.

Our cameras were there as one trucker tries to explain his log book to police. After telling Stoeckle that he updates his book every day, the trooper finds a discrepancy, checks with a weigh station in Oregon and pulls him off the road for ten hours. But that trucker wasn’t the only one.

We caught up with Nicolas, a truck driver who was forced to park his rig after police found an issue with his log. I asked him if he had a log and his responded, “yes.” “ But you just didn’t take a break?” I inquired. “Yes, it’s a problem,” said Nicolas. “Are you tired?” I asked. “ Yes, a little” he said. Nicolas also added that he felt it was a good thing that he was pulled off the road for a long break.

Not every trucker we met bends the rules, however. Nathaniel Wilson’s rig comes equipped with an electronic log. “I think this is the way to go. It’s accurate, it keeps me honest. I hear the stories of what guys talk about, and  I’ve heard stories of how they run 1100 miles on a single day,” said Wilson. And that’s exactly what this emphasis is trying to curb.

Stoeckle adds, “It sends a very clear signal to the  trucking industry  that we’re not going to tolerate fatigued driving.”

This year, the emphasis inspected a total number of 951 trucks in a four day period. Of those inspected, 99 rigs were pulled off the road for several hours and 44 were placed out of service for other violations. Last year, 862 trucks were inspected and 110 were placed out of service for several hours.

Danny Wu: Search in Pacific Northwest for person of interest in 2 vicious attacks

wuWANTED IN SEATTLE – Karen Lange, a singer and piano teacher from Pendleton, Ore., is still in a medically induced coma at Oregon Health and Science University Hospital after being attacked while she walked on the Umatilla River Parkway on Aug. 9.

Detectives found her the following morning in a brushy area several feet below the path.

“It’s a tragedy what happened to Karen,” said brother-in-law Darrin Lange, who lives in Seattle. “It’s a tragedy what happened to Karen. They are certainly focused on Karen’s recovery. They certainly don’t want this to happen to somebody else.”

Pendleton police started searching for the 53-year-old mother of two after she didn’t return from her daily walk.

Police Chief Stuart Roberts said it didn’t take long to find video that identified 23-year-old Danny Wu as a person of interest in the case.

“You can actually see him watching her as she makes her first lap through this route,” Roberts said of the surveillance video footage. “The second time around, you see him poke out and enter the parkway behind her and he’s trying to conceal what appears to be a large section of galvanized pipe in his right hand, kind of behind his back.”

Roberts said the attacker followed Karen off camera and she was found near that spot. Detectives found the galvanized pipe that forensic analysis has confirmed as the weapon.

Over the weekend, Oregon State Police matched DNA found on the pipe to DNA recovered from the scene of a brutal homicide in Pendleton on Aug. 14, 2012.  AmyJane Brandhagen, 19, was found with multiple stab wounds in her chest in a motel where she worked as a housekeeper. The two crimes were very similar in that there was no sexual assault, no robbery and no motive for the crimes.

“There’s a lot of forensic analysis, cross-analysis being done, because Wu actually fits the basic description we received from one of the motel employees the day of the homicide of somebody who was hanging in the area earlier in the day,” Roberts said.

He described Wu as “an extremely dangerous person who poses an imminent danger to society on an ongoing basis up until the point he’s in protective custody.”

The challenge has been finding Wu.

They need him to compare his DNA standard for confirmation purposes.  However, investigators aren’t even sure that’s his real name. Police had 27 contacts with him in the last year for criminal trespass, illegal lodging, and outstanding bench warrants.  He’s described as a loner who threatens people to stay away from him.

“He typically arms himself with  screwdrivers, piping, any other improvised devices he can use as a weapon,” Roberts said.

Wu has a tattoo of Semper Fi on his wrist but detectives don’t know if he was in the military.  They aren’t even sure that’s his real name. It’s one he gave them during the four times they’ve arrested him.

“There’s never been what I would consider a verification of that name because his fingerprint profile was compared against the automated fingerprint index and there was nobody else with that particular profile in the system.”

While Karen Lange struggles to recover, Darrin Lange said his brother Dan has been staying by his wife’s side at the hospital in Portland. He said they don’t want revenge against her attacker and that their faith is giving them hope.  However, he said, “I think we all want to feel safe and when we hear about stuff like this, it kind of shocks that sense of being safe and that feeling like we can be safe.”

If anyone has any information on Wu’s whereabouts or know anything that might help investigators, they are asked to contact the Pendleton Police Department at 541-276-4411 or call an anonymous tip into:
